Metals

Schnitzer Steel Hawaii
On Aloha Aina Community Clean-Up days, Schnitzer Steel Hawaii collects all types of scrap metal at a location within the community. Items collected may include appliances (refrigerators, stoves, heaters, washers, dryers, etc.), pipes, beams, posts, cables, wires, scrap metal, cast iron, motor blocks, car parts, and bicycles. Proceeds from the metal are donated to a community organization. It's a great way to clean up illegal dumpsites, as well as our own backyards and garages.
