Wheeled Recycling Bins

The City is currently offering 96-gallon, wheeled recycling bins to schools, non-profits, and condos for long-term use for recycling collection programs. You would be responsible, however, for arranging pickup or transport of the recyclables to a Certified Redemption Center or recycling facility.

• The wheeled bin’s dimensions are 46”H X 27”W X 32”D, with a weight of 45 lbs. empty.
• The bins are decaled so you can collect aluminum, plastic, and glass containers in separate bins or commingle them in one bin.
• The recycling bins must be kept secured. Damaged or stolen carts should be reported to the City’s Recycling Office at 768-3200.
• You may request up to 30 wheeled, recycling bins for your ongoing fundraising program.
• The City will deliver the bins to your property within 3 weeks of your request.
• If you wish to return the bins to the City you will need to transport them to the nearest refuse collection yard.
• Your organization is responsible for coordinating the redemption of the deposit beverage containers collected and stored in the bins.
